After months of uncertainty, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams have finally returned to Earth, closing a dramatic chapter in NASA’s history. The pair were stranded on the International Space Station after their Boeing Starliner, built for NASA missions, returned to Earth without them.
Wilmore and Williams made their long-awaited return aboard a SpaceX Dragon, landing off the coast of Florida with Crew-9. Their extended stay marked the sixth-longest mission in NASA history — a testament to the resilience and skill of these experienced astronauts. 📷: NASA/Keegan Barber/ Handout via REUTERS, Getty Images
